There are many different ISO standards, protocols, and physical differences between various RFID tag types. We selected our tags very carefully to achieve the optimal performance of the system, but we cannot guarantee that the other tags will work properly with GearEye. Though the chances are it will work well. To read tags with GearEye, please make sure they use EPC Gen2 communication protocol, see https://www.gs1.org/epcrfid/epc-rfid-uhf-air-interface-protocol/2-0-1 and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPCglobal for the explanation.
GearEye team has carefully selected the best RFID tags to work with our Tracking Device and give us the best results. However, it may also work well with any other standard passive RFID tags.
